Bank Pekao S.A. remains a leader in financial market activities in Poland. The bank proved to be unrivaled in the competition for the title of the best bank in the foreign exchange market, winning the title of Best Foreign Exchange Bank 2025 in the ranking of the prestigious Global Finance magazine.

Global Finance selects award winners based on objective factors such as transaction volume, market share, and the breadth of the offering. The criteria also include factors such as reputation, customer service, and technological innovations. The magazine uses data from industry analysts, managers, and technology experts. The editorial team also considers comments submitted by financial service providers and independent research.

"We are proud of this recognition, which confirms our position as a market leader. This success is the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire Bank Pekao team. We thank our clients for their trust, which motivates us to continuously improve our services," said Piotr Wochniak, Director of the Financial Markets Department at Bank Pekao S.A.

Collaboration with a market leader brings tangible benefits to clients, who gain the best possible access to the foreign exchange market in Poland. Thanks to the competence and experience of Bank Pekao employees, the bank handles even the largest transactions with individual denominations counted in hundreds of millions of zlotys.

This is confirmed by Paweł Malicki, Partner at the private equity fund MidEuropa Partners: "For over 25 years, we have been investing in Central Europe and Poland, strengthening local brands and creating market leaders. With ambitious goals and executing the largest acquisitions, we need the support of the best partners, such as Bank Pekao."
